At Limpopo Big Game Safaris we believe in providing the ultimate "Bow hunting" experience to our clients and hunters.
In 1998 the owners and directors of this unique piece of land banned rifle hunting completely. This decision resulted in some of the best "Bow hunting" opportunities in South Africa. The quality of game is unheard of. Record book trophies are taken year after year.
Hunting period
Although some bow hunting properties prefer the dark moon phase for hunting, at Limpopo Big Game Safaris you can hunt all year round.
Due to the no-rifle hunting principle we follow, our game has little to no hunting pressure.
Bow hunting season start from April after the last rains till November before the next rains fall.
Blinds / Hides
At Limpopo Big Game Safaris we offer a variety of blind hunting options. We have 6 permanent blinds overlooking water and mineral blocks as well as tree stands that are moved to different areas depending on the game movement. Game feeders with game pellets are also added as an supplement. Each blind has electronic feeders set to drop pellets three times a day.
