Shot placement is probably the most important factor in hunting. a Well placed shot will mean the difference between a trophy in the
bag and a wounded animal running in the bush. There are little other things in hunting that can spoil a good
The most important fact of shot placement is to remember that you are not shooting at a target on the animal, but rather a target
inside the animal. Before you take the shot, be sure of the angle the animal is facing at that time, this will count in your favour.
Always try to take out the opposite front leg.
Here are some pictures you can look at, the shot placements are marked with red for a heart or brain shot and blue for a lung. You will
note that with every different angle the shot placements differs.
